Charles Brackins

Charles Brackins is more than just a barber; he's a dedicated professional with a passion for his craft and a deep commitment to his community. Born and raised in Sevier County, Charles spent the better part of a decade working within the Sheriff’s Office. However, his desire for something more fulfilling led him on a journey to discover his true calling.

After numerous discussions and a few heated debates, Charles teamed up with Ian Morelan to bring to life the concept of the Salty Barber Company. This endeavor wasn't just about starting a business; it was about creating a space where Charles could find joy in his work while still prioritizing time with his family.

Barbering quickly became more than just a job for Charles; it became his passion. He constantly seeks new opportunities to expand his knowledge and refine his skills, ensuring that every patron who walks through the door leaves feeling their best.

But Charles's dedication doesn't end at the barber's chair. When he's not busy crafting cuts and fades, you'll often find him outdoors with his three boys. From off-roading adventures to lazy days by the water, Charles cherishes every moment spent with his family.

Janet Hite

Janet is a Tennessee native with a heart as warm as her southern roots. She recently decided to take the leap and pursue her dreams full-time. With her recent dual license as a Master Barber, she's now ready to re-immerse herself in the hair industry with a renewed sense of excitement and dedication.

Janet's journey into the world of beauty began 25 years ago when she earned her cosmetology license while she was in the healthcare sector as a Respiratory Therapist. Now, armed with years of experience and a fresh perspective, Janet is eager to bring her unique blend of skills and expertise to the Barbering Industry.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Janet finds joy in her roles as a devoted spouse and mother of two grown children. Her home is also filled with the playful energy of two adorable Pomeranians whom she spoils endlessly. When she's not behind the chair, Janet can be found indulging in her passions for travel, reading, photography, and painting. She embraces life with a spirit of creativity and exploration, infusing her work with a sense of artistry and personal flair.

MASTER BARBER

TIM DWYER

Originally from the rural parts of New York (not the city!), Tim made his way south to attend ETSU in Kingsport, where he graduated and planted roots in East Tennessee. Four years ago, he settled down in Bean Station with his wife and their two dogs, finding a peaceful home in the hills.

A proud graduate of KO Barber Academy, Tim discovered his passion for the craft through hands-on training and a deep appreciation for the art of cutting all styles of hair. His approach is fueled by skill, patience, and genuine joy in helping patrons look and feel their best.

With his wife already a familiar face at the Salty Barber Company since day one, Tim is excited to finally join her and the rest of the Salty Barber family at The Loft. Whether you're a regular or a walk-in, Tim looks forward to earning your trust—one haircut at a time.

MASTER BARBER

Adanari Castro

Adanari was born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee. With a long-standing interest in hair styling, she was encouraged by her brother and close barber friends to pursue a career in barbering. Taking a leap of faith, she invested her savings into herself and committed fully to mastering her craft.

Since beginning her journey, Adanari has experienced rapid growth and continues to sharpen her skills every day. She takes pride in delivering quality cuts while building genuine connections with each client.

Outside of the shop, Adanari enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors during the summer, playing soccer, gaming when time allows, and watching boxing matches.

Dedicated, driven, and passionate, Adanari is excited to serve — and grow alongside — the Sevierville and Pigeon Forge community.
