Ian Morelan

Ian was born in McMinn Co. Tennessee, and grew up in the small town of Etowah. While attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Ian decided that he wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. In early 2005, Ian would move to Sevierville, and by the end of September that year he would begin his career at the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office as a corrections officer. Ian went on to have an extensive career in corrections, including being promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

But Ian wanted to focus more on his family and to do more for the community. In early 2023, Charles Brackins proposed the idea of becoming barbers without knowing that Ian had wanted to be a barber ever since he was a child going to Johnny Coe’s barbershop in his hometown. The barber journey would begin at that moment. The next year at the K.O. Barber Academy would be hard work, but the grind would bring life to the Salty Barber Company.

Now that Salty Barber Company is up and running, Ian actually has time for himself once again. When Ian is not at the shop trying to keep Sevier County looking sharp, you can find him spending time with his family or tinkering on cars or guns.

Dennis Newman

Dennis brings not only skill and expertise but also a true artistic flair and genuine passion to our team. As a proud native of Sevier County, Dennis embodies the spirit of our local community and is dedicated to serving it with excellence.

Dennis is a man of diverse interests and passions. When he's not busy crafting impeccable cuts in our shop, you can catch him indulging his love for the great outdoors—whether he's casting a line while fishing or hitting the open road on his motorcycle. And let's not forget, Dennis is a loving family man, with a devoted spouse and three amazing kids who inspire him every day.

What truly sets Dennis apart is his incredible ability to connect with people. A natural conversationalist, he thrives on building relationships and making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Whether you're a regular patron or stepping into our barbershop for the first time, you can rest assured that Dennis will make you feel right at home.

MASTER BARBER

JOSEPH REYNA

Joe is a skilled barber with a laid-back vibe and a sharp eye for style. He brings both passion and precision to every cut. Originally from Indiana but raised right here in East Tennessee, Joe now lives in Dandridge with his fiancé and their two awesome kids.

Since beginning his barber journey in 2020, Joe has been all-in on the craft. He’s experienced with all hair types, but his specialties include tapers, modern mullets, bald fades, and burst fades — styles where creativity and clean lines meet.

Joe’s excited to be part of the Salty Barber Company team at The OG and is ready to welcome new patrons to his chair. Swing by, sit down, and leave looking your best — Joe’s got you covered.

MASTER BARBER

Evan Stinnett

A proud graduate of KO Barber Academy in Morristown, Evan made the bold decision to switch careers after over five years in law enforcement. His goal? To spend more quality time with his family and finally chase a dream he’s had since high school—becoming a barber.

Born and raised right here in Sevier County, Evan now lives in East Tennessee with his wife, Savannah, and their amazing son. He brings a strong attention to detail, a calm presence, and a genuine love for the craft to every cut. Whether you're coming in with a tried-and-true style or something brand new, Evan’s ready to bring it to life.

He’s looking forward to meeting new patrons and making sure you leave the chair looking sharp and feeling confident.
